The numerous attractions that awaited the visitors included chess-related movies, football matches and concerts. In addition, the festival was attended by a special guest – Anatoly Karpov, multiple World Chess Champion. He started his adventure with chess at the age of four and achieved his first major international success at the age of 18, winning the Junior World Champion title.
